Abstract
This presentation of the development of a mobile application to disseminate reliable and up-to-date information about the COVID-19 pandemic for deaf and hard of hearing people, based on the content of scientific articles from Arca - Institutional Repository of Fiocruz; Questions and Answers from the Fiocruz portal; and Fiocruz News Agency translated into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). The initiative arose from the perception of a gap in the production of knowledge and in actions in the field of information and communication to attend to the inclusion of the hearing impaired in Brazil.
